It is a classic tart pan made from tiinned steel which will bake a perfect crust but needs to be dried thoroughly when washed. This pan has a removeable bottom and a beautiful fluted edge. Made in France. Traditionally deep tarts are for savory tarts and shallow ones are for fruit or sweet tarts.
