Our most popular size classic tart pan is made from tinned steel which will bake a perfect crust. This pan has a removable bottom and a beautiful traditional fluted edge. It is still made in France. Traditionally shallow tarts are for fruit tarts, dessert tarts and everyone's favorite, chocolate. Make a chocolate chess pie filling, line this with your favorite pie crust and have a vision of a dessert.
It is tinplate, which is a great baking medium but dry thoroughly after washing to prevent rust.
