It is a classic tart or quiche pan made from tinned steel which will bake a perfect crust but will need to be dried thoroughly when washed. This pan has a removable bottom and a beautiful fluted edge. Traditionally, deep tarts are for savory tarts and shallow ones are for fruit or sweet tarts.
