Oxo is a revolutionary company. The first products were introduced in 1991 by Sam Farber, a big influence in the housewares industry. He had already retired when he teamed up with a design company to make kitchen tools & gadgets to help his wife Betty, who had arthritis. His vision turned into a major company that has had a huge impact on kitchen tool design.

That design is apparent in their two knife lines. There is the Good Grips value priced series that gives a great knife for a great price. Represented in the Oxo Good Grip line of knives are all the standard knife blade shapes. Then, there is the Professional Series.
