(DLC-139TX-1) This is the Cuisinart DLC-10 detachable stem that attaches to the discs that are used to slice and grate. It has a sliding mechanism that is pulled back to attach it to the interchangeable discs. You just line up the arrows. If you are replacing parts for older Cuisinart machines, you may have had discs that each had their own stems. For replacements; you have to now buy the stems and discs separately. The discs with attached stems are no longer available. This will fit all old DLC-10s, no matter which model.
**The older DLC-10 Cuisinarts came with their stems attached. For those machines, you will have to also buy the disc blades.
