(DLC-039ATX) This is the Cuisinart food processor stem that attachs to the discs that are used to slice and grate. It is compatible with the DLC 7 Cuisinart food processor. It has a sliding mechanism that is pulled back to attach it to the interchangable discs. You just line up the arrows. If you are replacing parts for older Cuisinart machines; you may have had discs that each had their own stems. For replacements; you have to now buy the stems and discs separately.
