(DLC-877BGTX) This is the DLC 8 Cuisinart replacement part that just covers the top of the DLC-8 workbowl. The entire top for a DLC-8 Cuisinart is sold in three separate pieces; so that if one piece breaks you won't have to replace them all. This Cuisinart part has a white clip on the side. If you are buying this as a Cuisinart replacement part and yours did not ever have a white clip; you must buy all three parts to the lid (943073 the cover; 943027 the feedtube assembly; and 943028 the small white pusher) because the old cover (no clip) is not interchangeable with the new parts. This Cuisinart workbowl cover has a gray tint and if you are replacing an older part; yours may be amber. The amber parts have been discontinued. There is only a very subtle difference in color ; but if you want them all to match exactly; you must also buy all three parts.
