Due to recent changes made by Cuisinart, if you need to replace your DLC-8 Workbowl Cover, you must also replace your DLC-8 Workbowl.

Cuisinart has recently switched to a new, BPA-free plastic called Tritan. In doing so they have updated the molds for several parts, meaning they may no longer be compatible with the parts you currently have.

The new Tritan workbowl features 4 tabs on the top rim of the workbowl, and can only be used with Tritan covers, which have 4 corresponding tabs on their bottom rim. Click here to view the 4 tabs on the DLC-8 Tritan Workbowl and Workbowl Cover.

The DLC-8 Tritan Workbowl & Workbowl Cover are available as a set.

If your Expanded Sleeve -- the oval piece that fits into the lid -- does not have 2 plastic prongs that extend from the bottom, then you will need to replace all four parts.

All 4 parts are available together in the DLC-8 4-Piece Tritan Bowl Kit.

DOES THIS FIT THE DLC8 PLUS? Yes, it will. You will need to order part #943073 for 31.50. This is the DLC-8 lid that will work with your DLC-8 expanded feedtube and small pusher. Shipping will be 7.95. Here is link. http://www.kitchenworksinc.com/DLC-8-WORKBOWL-COVER-WITH-LARGE-FEEDTUBE__943 073.aspx This cover part is only one part of the three parts of the lid. Make sure you know which part is broken before you order. The white clip can go wonky on the cover to the work bowl or sometimes the little feet on the side of the second part, the expanded feed tune break. Either one of these will keep the machine from working.
