These are 3" deep pans so they are larger than regular cakepans. These are traditionally used for wedding or stacked cakes. They also make a beautiful presentation when used to make layer cakes because the layers are so substantial. Made of solid aluminum; they have perfectly straight sides and cook very evenly. Made in the USA! Aluminum is malleable; and scratches or scuffs on the pan are normal. This WILL NOT affect your baked goods. We receive our pans from a commercial bakery supplier and not a retail supplier.
