OXO was a little late to the spiralizer game. Other options had been available for quite some time, but OXO's patience and research resulted in two of the most efficient spiralizers on the market.
The tabletop version is roughly the size of a loaf of bread and can spin through a sweet potato in no time flat. Three included blades mean endless options for healthy veggie additions.
Simply flip the gray lever on the side and the entire unit is secured onto a smooth surface by a large suction pad. Select your blade of choice and pop it into the base- either spaghetti, fettuccine, or ribbon cut.
Slice the end off your veggie and center it on the spiky grip and you're ready to create beautiful noodles, curly fries, or stir fry.
After just one use, it was clear that the OXO tabletop spiralizer is the most intuitive and efficient full-size option that we have seen. We were so impressed that we gave one to our entire staff!
The smaller frame OXO handheld spiralizer is perfect for garnishing salads or adding hidden veggies into your favorite dishes.
Like many other handheld options, the mechanism operates much like a pencil sharpener. Simply slice the end off your veggie of choice, center it onto the blade, and twist away.
As you get closer to the blade, grab your spiky finger guard and continue twisting to get every available bit of veggie.
This handheld option from OXO has easily become our favorite because it quickly produces noodles with a beautiful round shape. We find the flat cutting section to be significantly easier to clean than conical versions and as usual, the OXO ergonomics are well designed.
Overall, OXO has produced the best spiralizer options that we have found. Every morning when we use them to create demos for our customers, we are reminded of why we recommend them so highly.
