The Cuisinart DLC-X Food Processor is designed for restaurant and catering professionals, with a 20 cup capacity work bowl and a feedtube large enough to fit whole uncut vegetables. We carry replacement work bowls, covers, sleeve assemblies, chopping blades, and slicing and grating discs. The DLC-X design has changed dramatically over the last 20 years, so if you are unsure which model you have, click here for help identifying your model number.
There have been three iterations of the Cuisinart DLC-X food processor. Chopping blades and discs are the only parts that are interchangeable between models. All plastic parts are unique to their model.
The original DLC-X was manufactured in Japan over 20 years ago. It had amber-tinted parts and a white base with two black buttons across the top. If you are looking for replacement parts for an original DLC-X machine, you will have to purchase all new parts as the original and modern parts do not fit together (but the modern parts DO fit on the original machine base). Though purchasing an entire set can get expensive, we recommend replacing parts over purchasing a new machine because the Japanese motors are much stronger than the contemporary ones.
The DLC-X Plus came in two styles - white and brushed chrome - and had gray-tinted parts. It has an oval-shaped feedtube and expanded sleeve. Replacement parts for this model are unique to the DLC-XP and cannot be combined with parts from any other model.
The DLC-XPN is the model currently sold by Cuisinart. It has a larger half-moon shaped feedtube and expanded sleeve. Replacement parts for this model are unique to the DLC-XPN model and cannot be combined with parts from any other model.
