The Cuisinart DLC-X Food Processor is designed for restaurant and catering professionals, with a 20 cup capacity work bowl and a feedtube large enough to fit whole uncut vegetables.
There have been three iterations of the Cuisinart DLC-X food processor. Chopping blades and discs are the only parts that are interchangeable between models. All plastic parts are unique to their model.
The original DLC-X was manufactured in Japan over 20 years ago. It had amber-tinted parts and a white base with two black buttons across the top. This machine has been discontinued by Cuisinart and replacement parts are no longer in production. Limited stock will be available while supplies last.
The DLC-X Plus came in two styles - white and brushed chrome - and had gray-tinted parts. It has an oval-shaped feedtube and expanded sleeve. This machine has been discontinued by Cuisinart and replacement parts are no longer in production. Limited stock will be available while supplies last.
The DLC-XPN & DLC-XPBCN are models currently sold by Cuisinart. They have a larger half-moon shaped feedtube and expanded sleeve. These machines feature a large arm that extends from the back of the machine. This arm essentially bypasses the workbowl and connects directly into the lid and sleeve as part of the locking mechanism. This locking mechanism operates through magnetic connections and these parts can be identified by the shape of the magnet located in the lid and/or sleeve.
The Bar Style features 2 vertical side-by-side magnets in both the lid and sleeve. This style has been discontinued by Cuisinart. Limited stock will be available while supplies last.
The Cap Style features a white rectangular cover with a small white round "cap".
These two styles accept the same workbowl, but the lid and sleeve must match the style of parts that came with your machine.
