2QT TINNED STEEL STEAMED PUDDING MOLD

Item # 971401
This is a 8 cup traditional steamed pudding mold. It is a fluted mold with a tube in the middle and a lid. This mold is best used in a pot with some sort of trivet to raise it up for steaming. We have had great luck with our double boiler maker sold separately (958272). Tineplate bakeware will give you an evenly cooked mold but it needs to be dried thoroughly after washing. There is no bigger treat at the holidays than a traditional plum pudding with a brandied hard sauce. Try it! The mold has a 7.5" diameter on the lid, 5" diameter on the bottom and is 5" deep. Made in Germany.
